Bad breath can make one rather self conscious, or an individual may not even realize that they have it.

We’ve all experienced occasional bad breath due to a food that we’ve eaten like raw onions or garlic.

Usually after a good mouthwash and a little bit of time, the bad breath goes away and everything is back to normal.

However for some, there can be a health condition behind the bad breath and it can become a chronic condition.

Various mouth or dental conditions such as gum disease, dental disease, and simple accumulation of food between teeth can be the culprits.

It can also range to something more serious such as a gastrointestinal disease or even intestinal worms.

If the bad breath appears to keep coming back or seems to be impossible to control, it may well be worth seeking medical attention.

Many doctors can put you on some sort of medication or mouth wash that can help to kill the germs related to bad breath, or they can determine if there are any health conditions causing the problem.

However some people like to try out home remedies before the problem gets too bad in hopes of curing it on their own.

There are some excellent natural cures that can help to remove the bad breath and any possible re-occurrence.

Most of these are easy to do on your own and will offer some natural cures for bad breath, leaving you feeling confident and having good breath moving forward.

Baking Soda:

Lately, you see many types of toothpaste that have a baking soda base to them, and there’s good reason for this.

Baking soda mixed with warm water makes an excellent gargle for ridding yourself of bad breath.

This natural cure has some very potent properties in killing the germs related to bad breath and keeping them away.

Baking soda can also be used to clean the tongue properly, as this can be a root cause for the chronic bad breath in the first place.

Juices:

The juice of a lemon is one of the most effective home remedies for bad breath.

You can use the juice of a lemon in a couple of different ways.

You can either mix the juice of a half a lemon or mix it with a glass of water to be consumed after each and every meal.

You can also squeeze an entire lemon into a glass of lukewarm water to be used as a gargle at the end of each night, helping to act as a natural cure to get to the source of the bad breath and kill it off completely.

You may find that pineapple juice is also another excellent natural cure for bad breath—and much more delicious.

Drinking pineapple juice on a regular basis will help to rid the foul smell from the mouth and tongue, therefore eliminating bad breath as a problem.

Apple A Day:

Eating an apple a day can do wonders not just for your health, but also as a natural cure for bad breath.

Apples can purify the mouth and remove bad bacteria that can build up and thus cause the problem in the first place, making bad breath a thing of the past.
