Fatigue, also called exhaustion, lethargy and tiredness, is considered as a state of mental or physical weakness. It is the inability to perform daily tasks than the body’s normal stamina. It may arise due to various reasons such as mental stress, over or under stimulation, depression, disease or lack of sleep.

Here are some home remedies that may help you expel chronic fatigue and restore your energy levels.

Heavy Breakfast

Always have a heavy breakfast before you step out for work. Breakfast is an important meal of the day, which plays a significant role to reduce fatigue. It enhances the energy level in the body that helps you to perform your daily task more easily and efficiently. People, who skip the morning breakfast are more likely to suffer from various health related problems. It would be beneficial to limit the size of your meal up to 300 calories.

Spinach for Chronic fatigue

Spinach, also known as Spinacia oleracea, is a nutrient-enriched food. It contains folate that plays a significant role to fight chronic fatigue. It also helps in transforming homocysteine molecule into helpful nutrients. Flavonoids-rich spinach acts as antioxidant, which protect human body from free radicals.

It provides other nutrients that energize your body and helps to prevent fatigue. It is a magnificent source of iron, selenium, antioxidant vitamin c, magnesium, vitamin E, vitamin B2 or B1. Add spinach to your daily diet for positive results. Moreover, it is served with salad.

Broccoli

Broccoli alleviates adrenal stress and fatigue. It contains dietary fiber that helps to reduce the adrenal damage, thus lowering down the metabolism of glucose and control blood sugar level in the body.

It eliminates body fat specifically around the midroff area that is responsible for alluring stress weight from raised cortisol. Thus, it helps in reducing the resistance of insulin and also improve metabolism of blood sugar.

High Fiber Oats

The high fiber content of Oats keeps your stomach contented for long that discourages you from overeating. Overeating causes sluggishness, fatigue and weight gain in the body. Take a mixture of raspberry leaf, nettle, oat tops, lemon balm along with one fourth part of gingerand licorice. Drink three cups of this fatigue-fighting tea per day for better result.

Salt Bath

This remedy may also help you to release your fatigue. Add salt to the tub water. Lukewarm water is best for this purpose and thus preferred. Keep your body soaked in the tub water for 10 minutes and feel the relaxation entering your pores. Make sure not to dip head and save the hair’s contact from salty water.
Wine

A glass of wine can do more wonders in killing fatigue and you may pat yourself for it. Ingredients used are: 1 liter of fine quality red wine, 25gm of rosemary and equal quantity (25 gm) of sage, 2 tsps of honey. Mix the wine, sage and rosemary in a glass container and keep this container in a pot of boiling water for 20 minutes. Strain the liquid and then add honey. Enjoy this wine before every meal to soothe your senses.

Rose Petals

Rose petals are known to have magical powers to remove the depression and tension caused due to mental fatigue. Prepare a tonic mixing 20-30 rose petals in a glass of water and boil them for 15 minutes. Allow it to cool and store in an airtight container. Consume it 2-3 times a day.

Grapefruit

Grapefruit is also very beneficial for fatigue treatment. It contains various compounds including potassium, iron, vitamin B and calcium. It refreshes your mind and keep you more active throughout the day. Consume a mixture of grapefruit and lemon juice every day to get rid from chronic adrenal fatigue.
